Anyone who ever raised young guppies (and be honost...who hasn't?) or enjoyed breeding 'Magic Fish' (a fancy name used by the pet industry) knows: killies are addictive!

Some of the (livebearing) killies, especially the fancy guppies, platies and swordtails, belong to the most popular aquariumfishes, available at every petshop around the world. On the other hand, the wildtypes of, both egglaying and livebearing killies, are often only available through specialised breeders.
